KINGSTOWN, St Vincent – Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has said that a St. Lucia-registered airline has not been granted permission to land in St. Vincent and the Grenadines because it is “in breach of the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority operating procedure” and as such “the airline is operating illegally”.

BA told us that we had to go back to Jerez to board the flight otherwise our entire return ticket would become invalid. I couldn’t believe this, but staff at Barajas Airport in Madrid confirmed this and we were turned away from the flight. We flew back on Ryanair.Susan Wilson, London
