According to mdausa.org, “MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research.”Cabot artist participating in EggshibitionMarty Smith of Cabot will be a participating artist in the 20th-annual Eggshibition, which will be held April 1 at the Jack Stephens Center on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s campus. Last year’s event was attended by more than 600 of Arkansas’ art collectors and friends of Youth Home. The theme for Eggshibition XX is “Evolution of the Egg.” The festivities include works of art featuring egg-shaped or egg-themed works of art created by more than 90 artists. Tickets for Eggshibition may be purchased at youthhome.org or by contacting Larry Betz at 501-821-5500.Youth Home, founded in 1966, is a private nonprofit agency accredited by The Joint Commission. The agency employs more than 240 people, including adolescent psychiatrists, therapists, mental health professionals and educators and is located on a 52-acre campus that includes Siebert School, administrative offices, three homes for boys and three homes for girls. a fourth home for girls, Ozark House, is in Little Rock.
