Continental Airlines will no longer serve pretzels and Biscoff cookies on their domestic routes, several international news sites reported on Saturday. Continental is expecting to save about $2.8 million every year because of the reported change.

The cost saving is peanuts, really. actually, make thatpretzels, since Continental Airlines has eliminated those tiny bagsof free pretzels for coach customers on domestic flights. Theairline says it will save $2.5 million a year.
