I have heard that they serve you good food on a flight that is over seven hours long. Has anyone flown on American Airlines on an International flight, and do they really give you a good meal, or should I eat before the flight? And do they really give you free drinks? Im only flying economy, but they claim that the food is good and so are the drinks. Just checking. Also, any other tips I need to know about flying that distance is greatly appreciated as well!

I’m a girl in her lower 20′s and would love to visit japan, but with money and the economy, I can’t afford a 1000 dollar plane ticket. Are there any special programs, or anything that I could join to get a free (or very cheap) trip?I can’t do JET, the application process is too long and I don’t have a Bachelor’s degree. Anything else?
