Why are airfares to Egypt the same now as they were before the unrest/revolution?

I looked at airfares in January (a "high" season in Egypt). they were about $1200.
This week for April ("shoulder season") they are still about $1200.
Yet, I hear that the planes flying there are only 1/4 full and the hotels are empty.
Why have the airlines not dropped airfares to match the drop in demand?
They already know what you are willing to pay.
Because, no body has been going to Egypt. So no one has fixed anything
